Special Issue:LiDAR
Invited expert: Professor Cai Huaiyu (Tianjin University), Professor Xiaodong Chen(Tianjin University), Professor Yaocheng Shi (Zhejiang University)

LiDAR is a radar system that emits laser beams to detect the position and velocity of a target. Due to the good directionality and energy concentration of laser, LiDAR detection has much higher precision and resolution. And it plays an important role in military or civilian fields, such as space exploration, ocean and forestry exploration, atmospheric exploration, geological mapping, mobile robots, etc.
It is hoped that the special issue entitled “LiDAR: Technologies and Applications” can show innovative LiDAR key technologies and the development trends of related technologies in the future by the reviews. Meanwhile by sharing the application achievements of LiDAR technology, the researches of related LiDAR system design and application algorithm are encouraged. Furthermore, we hope to further promote the upgrading of LiDAR technology, so that it can better serve the human production and life.
