"60 Years of Laser" virtual issue of Opto-Electronic Engineering

 

May 16, 2020, is the third International Day of Light established by United Nations Educational,Scientific,and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). In May of 1960, Theodore Maiman fired the first laser in the world, so the year 2020 marks 60 years since the construction and operation of the first laser. To celebrate the 2020 International Day of Light, as well as the 60th Anniversary of laser, Opto-Electronic Engineering launches "60 Years of Laser" virtual issue, which selects 18 laser related important papers published in Opto-Electronic Engineering since 2017, covering the laser device, laser processing and measurement, etc.
