With the development of laser technology, ultrafast laser fabrication has become an important direction of precision machining. A review paper in this issue, the investigation on the research was introduced for ultrafast laser industrial application based on filamentation. The development of laser technology also promote optical test. The application of optical technology in gas concentration detection is summarized in a paper in the issue. The development of detection technology is not only shown in gas detection. In this paper, the MMACF algorithm for pedestrian detection using multispectral information is proposed. Another paper  present a method using two orthogonal amplitude of one-dimensional grating, to improve the detecting precision of the far-field facula center of mass. Besides, in image and signal processing field, for low contrast and large noise image, image enhancement method was put forward based on brain internal generation mechanism (IGM) and pulse coupled neural network (PCNN).
